Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Yardley, PA is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee Security Officers and Lead Officers at client sites. You will ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, reports filed, and authorities notified in emergencies.

The role also involves coaching and disciplining staff, training personnel, assisting with payroll, ensuring full coverage of posts, and maintaining high standards of client service and security operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of retail experience preferred.
• May be required to hold and continue to meet the requirements for any applicable state, county and municipal license for Security Officers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers and others; ensure post orders followed, rounds completed, reports filed, and authorities notified in emergencies.
• Coach and discipline personnel; meet with employees and document actions.
• Train Security Officers and review post orders and assignments.
• Assist in payroll/submission of personnel information as designated.
• Work with management to ensure adequate coverage of posts and positions.
• Prepare, file and submit reports as required.
• Inspect posts and outline tasks and responsibilities with subordinates.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements and provide quality customer service.
• Carry out supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting, training, planning, assigning, directing work, coaching, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and hiring/termination decisions per laws.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer per post orders and policy.
