Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee Security Officers and Lead Officers at client site(s).

The role requires 2 years of supervisory experience and a valid driver’s license with driver certification, with standing and patrol duties as part of daily activities. The position reports to management and involves ensuring post orders are followed, rounds completed, and timely reports filed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience or equivalent
• At least 2 years supervisory experience in security or retail settings preferred
• Excellent customer service skills required

Responsibilities

• Functions as supervisor of Security Officers and other personnel at client sites; ensure post orders are followed and reports filed
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; meets with employees to discuss performance
• Trains Officers and reviews post orders and assignments with staff
• Assists in payroll submissions and personnel information to the company
• Ensures adequate coverage of posts and positions in conjunction with management
• Prepares and submits reports as required
• Inspects posts and outlines tasks and responsibilities with subordinates
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and service quality is maintained
• Performs supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting and training, planning, assignment, and performance management
• May perform duties of a Security Officer per post orders and policy
