Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee Security Officers and Lead Officers at client sites, ensuring post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed. The ideal candidate has 1+ year of security and supervision experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills are essential, with flexibility to coordinate with management and clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent combination of education/experience acceptable.
• 1+ year of security experience required; 1+ year of supervision experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and staff at client site(s); ensure post orders, rounds, and reports are completed.
• Coach and discipline personnel; conduct meetings and document actions.
• Train officers; review post orders and assignments with team.
• Assist in payroll and personnel submissions; ensure coverage of posts.
• Prepare and file reports; inspect posts and outline tasks for subordinates.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.
