Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor in Kingston, NY to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. You will act as a liaison between site supervision, Account Manager and officers, providing coaching, recognition and disciplined enforcement within approved guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; initiative and independent judgment within guidelines
• Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions
• Driving: valid Driver's License with driving experience, clean record, insurance requirements
• Complete a background check and drug/alcohol test; may require Drivers Record check
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize wireless technology at client sites
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and officers
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range
• Drive safe operations and ensure client site security requirements are met
• Prepare written reports and logs with neat and legible handwriting
