Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor in Richmond, Virginia. The role involves supervising security officers on a specific shift, coordinating services with site leadership, and ensuring high standards of service delivery on a full-time basis.

The position offers a Thursday–Sunday shift, paid orientation, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401k plan. Applicants must meet licensing and background check requirements and possess strong communication

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs.
• Must read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• Responsible driving record and valid license for driving positions.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize wireless technology at client sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff on assigned shift and coordinate delivery of quality services.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range.
• Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining customer service standards.
