Red Hawk Resort + Casino is seeking a Security Supervisor for the Placerville, CA area. The role supports supervision of Security Officers, staffing, patrols, incident reporting, and guest interactions to protect guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising Security Officers on assigned shift.
• Maintain staffing levels by interviewing, training and scheduling staff.
• Patrol property to identify hazards and report findings.
• Back-up Security Officers and assume duties as needed.
• Prepare incident reports involving guests, employees or facility.
• Guard transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor.
• Facilitate information flow by attending departmental meetings.
• Ensure high levels of guest service and satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in the supervision of Security Officers on assigned shift.
• Maintains adequate staffing levels, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting and disciplining employees, as needed.
• Patrols the property on assigned shift, identifying potential security and/or safety hazards, and reporting same to the appropriate individual, to ensure the safety and protection of guests, employees and the entire facility.
• Acts as a back-up to Security Officers on assigned shift, and assumes their duties when necessary.
• Prepares and requests reports on incidents involving guests, employees and/or the facility, as needed.
• Guards transfers of monies and chips on the casino floor, as well as the physical transportation of chip fills and credits.
• Acts as a backup to Security Officers on assigned shift, and assumes their duties.
• Interacts with guests and employees in a positive, professional manner.
• Ensures a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction throughout the property is achieved and maintained.
• Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
• Held accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
• Create and utilize a comprehensive and sustainable employee engagement strategy through both formal and informal feedback as well as constant communication
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associates of Arts degree in any field is preferred.
• Must have a minimum of one year of supervisor and guest services experience.
• Two years of experience in law enforcement or gaming security strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
