The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a shift-based security professional for a residential re-entry center. You will coordinate administrative and operational security, lead staff on your shift, and ensure compliance with post orders and safety procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, a year of related security experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong report-writing skills. Training and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year as Monitor I or 2 years related experience; leadership preferred.
• Must hold a current and active driver’s license.
• Familiar with community correctional operations, rules and supervision training.
• Ability to write legible reports in English with proper grammar.
• Ability to plan, motivate, schedule, train and react quickly to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative and operational security on a specific shift in a residential re-entry center.
• Lead staff during assigned shift to maintain adequate security coverage.
• Read, understand and comply with post orders for the assigned post.
• Ensure resident counts are conducted and shift duties are performed as prescribed.
• Monitor safety practices and ensure incident reports are prepared and disseminated.
