GEO Reentry Services LLC is seeking a dedicated security supervisor to coordinate administrative and operational security on a residential re-entry shift. You will lead staff, enforce post orders, conduct counts, and ensure safety and compliance across the facility.

The role requires leadership experience, strong written communication, and the ability to manage staffing, training, and incident reporting under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year as a Monitor I or two years related experience preferred.
• Familiar with community correctional operations and supervision principles.
• Ability to write legible reports in English with proper grammar.
• Ability to plan motivate, control, schedule, train and react quickly to emergencies.
• Ability to work any assigned shift and with facility computers.

Responsibilities

• Reads, understands and complies with post orders for the assigned post.
• Ensure resident formal counts are conducted.
• Directs Monitor staff and residents and manages scheduling, training, and leave.
• Report any suspected unauthorized activity to the Security Manager or Facility Director.
• Maintain daily logs, resident in/out, visitors in/out, and facility checks.
• Provide adequate staffing and fill in during short staffing.
• Participate in evaluating security staff.
• Coordinate training requirements and verify completion of training.
• Monitor safety practices and prepare incident reports as required.
• Conduct shift meetings and maintain effective communications with staff and inmates.
• Communicate clearly with staff, inmates, visitors and the public.
• Prepare staff logs and disciplinary reports; review and disseminate reports.
• Inspect housing and general areas to maintain standards and procedures.
• Conduct extended surveillance and verify resident identification.
• Manage rotating shifts and ensure doors and windows are secure.
• Take action to prevent or diffuse disruptive situations.
• Remain alert in emergencies and complete in-service training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
