Job summary

Riot Platforms, Inc. is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to lead the security team and daily operations at our site. You will promote safe practices, enforce rules, and coordinate with supervisors to resolve issues while protecting people and assets.

The role requires leadership, CCTV oversight, and strong communication skills, with the ability to respond quickly to incidents and manage access control and logs on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years’ experience in management, law enforcement, security, and/or military.
• Must hold a DPS Level II license on hire and Level III license within 30 days.
• Must pass MVR check and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, organize, and direct daily security team activities.
• Develop relationships with personnel, visitors, vendors, employees, and customers.
• Monitor operations and provide guidance and training for professional interactions.
• Address inquiries and security concerns promptly and professionally.
• Oversee CCTV usage and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Conduct patrols and secure facilities, entrances, and perimeters.
• Manage access control and maintain logs of visitors.
• Report safety hazards and incidents to leadership and HR as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement and EMS.
• Conduct shift briefings and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Administer discipline and assist with remediation alongside managers.
• Interview, onboard, and train new security team members.
