Job summary

Inter-Con Security is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations, staff posts, and maintain a safe environment for clients, employees and visitors. You will provide leadership, training and support to security officers while enforcing company policies, procedures and post orders.

This role requires supervising shifts, conducting patrols, documenting incidents, coaching officers, and coordinating with site management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; security education preferred.
• 2+ years of security experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid driver’s license and security license/guard card as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security officers during assigned shifts.
• Conduct patrols, inspections, and audits of the site to ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and documentation.
• Ensure officers are trained, equipped, and briefed on daily responsibilities.
• Provide immediate response to incidents, emergencies, and alarms.
• Enforce company policies, client procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Address performance issues, provide coaching, and elevate concerns when necessary.
• Serve as a liaison between site management, clients, and security personnel.
• Assist with onboarding and field training for new officers.
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
