Job summary

Riot Platforms, Inc. is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to lead daily security operations at our Rockdale, Texas site. You will oversee security team members, ensure safe access, respond to incidents, and coordinate with supervisors and HR to address performance issues.

The role requires DPS Level II license, weapons proficiency, and strong leadership, communication, and surveillance capabilities. You will work in a mining/data center environment with varied shifts, including holidays and

Qualifications

• Must hold a DPS Level II license upon hire and obtain a Level III license within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree, or 5 years' experience in management, law enforcement, security, and/or military.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and pass an MVR check.
• Must maintain a high level of weapons proficiency.
• Certified in CPR/AED/First Aid.
• Speaks, reads, and writes English; bilingual helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, organize, and direct the daily activities of the security team.
• Develop and maintain relationships with security personnel, visitors, vendors, employees, and customers.
• Monitor security operations and train staff for professional interactions.
• Address customer service inquiries and security concerns promptly.
• Ensure CCTV systems monitor areas in compliance with laws and policies.
• Conduct patrols to identify security concerns and secure facilities.
• Manage access control at entry gates and logs.
• Identify and report safety hazards, security breaches, and suspicious activity.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents; coordinate with authorities as needed.
• Conduct shift briefs and ensure handoffs between shifts.
