Securitas USA is seeking an Experienced Shift Supervisor in Sauget, IL. The role focuses on directing on‑duty Security Officers, coordinating post orders, and ensuring rounds and reports are completed efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Security.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/ effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• A Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and needed reports are filed.
• Notifies proper authorities, clients, and Securitas management in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers with functions of their positions, reviews site post orders, and other details of their position.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions while on duty.
• Prepares, files, and submits various reports as needed.
• Inspects posts and meets with on duty Security Officers to ensure tasks and responsibilities are being completed.
• Following applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws, performs supervisory duties that can include training employees, assigning tasks during shift, directing work, coaching, addressing issues, and resolving problems.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.
