Job summary

Metro Fire + Security in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a skilled Security Service Technician to service and replace alarm, camera, and access control devices across multiple sites. You will work with minimal supervision, lead teams on larger jobs, and prioritise customer satisfaction while maintaining safety standards.

Required: 5+ years in security technician work, valid driver’s license, and experience with Burg, DMP, Honeywell, DSC, Exacq or Wave VMS. S2/Brivo training is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security technician experience.
• Commercial security system experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to travel to multiple job sites.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights/weekends.
• Alarm Agent License and DPS Fingerprint Card.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Service security systems per provided job scopes and drawings.
• Service access control devices.
• Service IP based camera systems.
• Service alarm systems.
• Lead technicians on larger jobs.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
• Explain and train customers on equipment usage.
• Update customer files with work orders and parts used.
• Respond promptly to customer questions and concerns.
• Maintain compliance with safety programs.
