Metro Fire+Security is looking for an experienced Security Service Technician in Gilbert, AZ. You will service and install alarm, access control, and IP camera systems, lead a team on larger jobs, read diagrams and blueprints, and train junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• 5+ years as a security technician preferred (commercial).
• Proficient with alarm, access control and IP camera systems.
• Experience with S2 and Brivo is a plus; strong knowledge of networked security systems.

Responsibilities

• Service security systems per job scopes and drawings.
• Maintain and service access control devices.
• Service IP-based camera systems and alarm systems.
• Lead a team on larger jobs; train and mentor less experienced technicians.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints; communicate issues and solutions to customers.
• Update customer files with work performed, parts used and contacts.
• Ensure safety programs are followed and certifications are maintained.
