Job summary

Prime Partners is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair commercial security systems. The role covers access control, CCTV, intrusion, and IP networking with a need to walk into sites, diagnose issues, and restore operations independently or with a team.

Candidates must have 7–10 years of hands-on experience, a current Arizona Alarm Agent License, and strong knowledge of IP networking, with the ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are hiring an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair commercial security systems. This is a service-focused role for a seasoned tech who can walk into a site, diagnose the problem, and get the system back online. You will work independently and with a team on access control, CCTV, intrusion, and IP network infrastructure. A current Arizona Alarm Agent License is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and intrusion detection systems in commercial and industrial facilities
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues quickly to minimize downtime for customers
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on low voltage and security systems
• Support IP network infrastructure, servers, and networked security devices
• Assist with installations and system upgrades as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and system drawings
• Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance in the company system
• Communicate with customers, contractors, and project teams to keep work on track
• Provide technical support and basic system training to customers and team members
• Follow all jobsite safety standards and company procedures

Required Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience servicing commercial access control systems
• Strong experience with intrusion detection and video surveillance systems
• Current Arizona Alarm Agent License
• Working knowledge of IP networking, servers, and networked security devices
• Fire alarm experience is a plus
• Experience with platforms such as Lenel, CCURE 9000, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, or Bosch is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and system drawings
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Clear written and verbal communication with customers and team members
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work on ladders, aerial lifts, at heights, and in confined spaces
• Able to travel as needed, including overnight stays
• Comfortable working in varying weather and jobsite conditions
