We are hiring an experienced Low Voltage Service Technician to service, maintain, and repair commercial security systems. This is a service-focused role for a seasoned tech who can walk into a site, diagnose the problem, and get the system back online. You will work independently and with a team on access control, CCTV, intrusion, and IP network infrastructure. A current Arizona Alarm Agent License is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair access control, video surveillance (CCTV), and intrusion detection systems in commercial and industrial facilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues quickly to minimize downtime for customers
- Perform scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on low voltage and security systems
- Support IP network infrastructure, servers, and networked security devices
- Assist with installations and system upgrades as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and system drawings
- Document all service calls, repairs, and maintenance in the company system
- Communicate with customers, contractors, and project teams to keep work on track
- Provide technical support and basic system training to customers and team members
- Follow all jobsite safety standards and company procedures
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of hands‑on experience servicing commercial access control systems
- Strong experience with intrusion detection and video surveillance systems
- Current Arizona Alarm Agent License
- Working knowledge of IP networking, servers, and networked security devices
- Fire alarm experience is a plus
- Experience with platforms such as Lenel, CCURE 9000, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, or Bosch is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and system drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication with customers and team members
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work on ladders, aerial lifts, at heights, and in confined spaces
- Able to travel as needed, including overnight stays
- Comfortable working in varying weather and jobsite conditions
