Approved Fire Protection & Security in New York is seeking a Security Sales Representative/Account Manager to grow existing accounts and win new business in a structured sales environment. You will manage proposals, respond to inquiries, visit client sites, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver security and low‑voltage solutions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in sales, account management or business development.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent in-office presence to support customer communication and team collaboration.
• Respond promptly to calls, emails, and inquiries.
• Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and sales orders.
• Follow up on proposals within 48 hours to drive conversions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently.
• Expand services within existing accounts and pursue new opportunities.
• Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and propose solutions.
• Develop and manage daily/weekly sales plans and report activities.
