Job summary

Check Point Software is seeking a Sales Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to drive technical leadership and tailor security solutions for customer environments. You will assist the sales team with demonstrations, Q&A, and hands-on deployments, ensuring success from discovery through post-sale support.

You will collaborate with SecOps teams, present to diverse stakeholders, and help customers navigate complex network security architectures while delivering value in a fast-paced, global company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or similar customer-facing role in cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end technical engagements from discovery to post-sale support.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network and security architecture (firewalls, EDR, XDR, SIEM/SOC).
• Experience delivering technical product demos to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on deployment and troubleshooting in customer environments.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership partnering with customer SecOps teams to tailor security solutions.
• Support sales with product demonstrations and technical Q&A during prospect calls and onsite visits.
• Plan and execute POVs (Proof Of Value); hands-on installation and troubleshooting of product.
• Lead technical responses to RFPs/RFIs with input from internal experts.
• Participate as a technical resource at prospect meetings, seminars, and events.
