Panasonic Energy invites applications for a Security & Risk Intern at the Gigafactory. This paid summer internship runs for 12 weeks, May through August 2027, onsite, with full-time hours and a focus on security across technical, physical, and information security domains.

Applicants must be enrolled full-time, have completed at least two years of study, maintain a 3.2 GPA or higher, and be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Completion of at least two years of full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) in a Bachelor’s Degree program.
• GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Basic knowledge of project management processes and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Coordinate with other business functions to meet security needs.
• Manage and access video surveillance and access control systems.
• Respond to security events under supervision of security management.
• Develop project plans and tasks with managers.
• Communicate project expectations, monitoring and follow-through.
