Job summary

Beyond Security is seeking an experienced security officer for a part-time night shift near Mesa Gateway Airport. The role requires an AZ unarmed guard card and 2–3 years of security experience; military experience with an AZ card is accepted.

Expect cart-based patrols of a large warehouse complex, occasional foot patrols, and strict reporting via SilverTrac. Must maintain a clean driving record and work independently at night.

Qualifications

• Wednesdays 5:30pm–5:30am; 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol large warehouse facility primarily by cart, with some foot patrols.
• Check doors, buildings and gates; log observations.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and logs.
• De-escalate conflicts when needed; call authorities as required.
• Observe and deter vandals and unauthorized persons; report findings.

Job description

Seeking experienced security officer for part-time night shift.

Wednesdays each week from 530pm to 530am. 12 hour shift- one night a week.

Must have a current AZ unarmed guard card. Looking for someone with a min of 2-3 years of security experience. Military experience in lieu of security experience as long as you hold an AZ guard card. Must have a clean driving record.

This location is near the Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa.

Job duties include but not all are listed- Patrolling a large warehouse facility with multiple warehouses.

• Patrols are mostly done on a cart but some foot patrols are needed to check doors, inside some buildings and gates.
• Must have great communication skills, via phone/text and reporting.
• Detailed report writing is a must.
• Be able to de-escalate issues if needed.
• Patrol location on cart- observe and report, deter vandals, homeless and other unauthorized persons.
• Do a min of 2 hourly checks, 30 min a part - each hour, logging everything in silvertrac. Patrolling the site, checking buildings and doors.
• Must be detailed in reporting.
• Checking for lights out, damage, doors, gates open, leaking, fires. broken windows etc.- reporting each issue you find and checking in and out of building after storms.
• Call police, fire and ambulance as needed.
• Must be able to work alone at night. Clean up after yourself.
• Know how to write detailed reports, with all facts.
• Using silvertrac is a must. all reporting and incident reporting done on app.

You will be patrolling on a cart 85 percent of the time walking or sitting the rest of the time.

Must have a clean driving record and a drivers lic.
