Securitas USA is hiring a Security Officer in Douglas, AZ for a full-time, on-site role with a wage of $15.35 per hour. The position focuses on access control, patrolling, and maintaining a secure environment for client sites.

The role requires 18+ years, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to work independently while staying calm in stressful situations. Pre-employment screening and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience is a plus.

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client's employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

• Arizona Guard Card required.
