Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a full-time Security Officer in Sahuarita, AZ. The role involves monitoring premises, enforcing site rules, and performing patrols to maintain a safe environment for clients and guests.

You will report safety issues, handle access control, and use technology devices during your shift. This position requires customer service skills and the ability to stay calm during emergencies. Wage is $18.00 per hour, with overnight shifts and potential benefits as listed.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must be able to stand / walk for extended periods of time.
• Must have a clear MVR and a valid Arizona Driver’s License.
• Valid Arizona Unarmed Guard Card required.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

TheSecurity Officers help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
