Job summary

Marksman Security LLC seeks a 3rd Shift Unarmed Security Officer in Mesa, AZ. The role involves foot patrols, monitoring cameras, and responding to incidents to safeguard people and property. A valid Arizona Guard Card and a clean driver’s license are required, with a minimum age of 21 and prior security experience preferred.

Qualifications

• AZ Security License is mandatory.
• Valid and clean Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 21 years old and a high school graduate.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a security environment.
• Minimum one year of security experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Good computer skills for incident reporting.
• Must be physically able to perform patrols and movements.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests promptly and courteously.
• Verify credentials of incoming/outgoing individuals and vehicles.
• Protect people and equipment by enforcing policies.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior to prevent theft or vandalism.
• Observe surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
• Patrol interior and exterior perimeters for safety risks.
• Warn violators of infractions like loitering or prohibited items.
• Respond to distress calls and emergencies with first responders.
• Identify and report safety or security concerns in a timely manner.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting.
• Enforce all rules and regulations; perform other duties as assigned.

A CURRENT ARIZONA GUARD CARD IS REQUIRED

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and or other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and or in possession of prohibited items.
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms and or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties to be determined by Management.

Qualifications:

• Valid AZ Security License mandatory
• Valid and Clean Driver's License
• Must be at least 21 yrs old
