Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on security, fire alarm, and life-safety systems on projects of varying complexity.

You will read blueprints, troubleshoot, and support field teams while delivering world-class service. This role requires a valid driver's license and ability to travel locally; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with security, fire alarm and life-safety systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and interpret manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair and service non-routine security and life-safety systems.
• Operate and demonstrate systems; perform startup and certification testing.
• Provide customer training and support; document work and communicate project status.
