Job summary

Covestic Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Physical Security Project Manager to lead delivery of security systems for new office and facility builds, and to own QA/QC governance and automation programs across the DEC practice.

The role requires coordinating across internal teams, vendors, and construction partners to ensure on-time, on-budget deployments aligned with GSIS standards. Hands-on tooling, scripting, and BIM integrations are valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering physical security systems for office/facility builds.
• Familiar with electronic security system design and QA governance.
• Hands-on tool building and automation development.
• Strong document control and change-management capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate across internal teams, vendors, and construction partners.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of project schedules, budgets, correspondence, communication, coordination, meeting documentation, project document organization.
• Produce RFPs, review vendor proposals, evaluate for scope/pricing, manage purchase and change orders for facilities/office builds.
• Review and enforce contract requirements with vendor partners.
• Lead integration bid process activities: RFPs, RFIs, interviews, proposals, awards.
• Attend new build kickoff site visits to evaluate space aspects and opportunities.
• Review leases, perform due diligence, assess site zoning, security risks and mitigations.
• Oversee design consultants to ensure documents align with GSIS requirements.
• Track coordination between design consultants and disciplines; manage contract documentation backcheck.
• Lead construction kickoff activities and security integration scheduling.
• Interface with GC and construction teams to manage processes and protocols.
• Manage submittal and RFI reviews.
• Coordinate security programming and on-site commissioning with internal ops.
• Travel to project sites for acceptance testing and validation.
• Manage punch lists and closeout documentation; plan training for stakeholders.
• Develop/align QA governance tools; drive global standards; track changes.
• Build automations and internal tooling to reduce consultant/PM hours; propose lessons learned and updated templates.
