Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Security Platform Engineer to design, operate, automate, and continually enhance the network security platforms protecting IT and OT environments across 150+ locations. You will translate standards into practical policy and own lifecycle from intake to upgrades and monitoring.

The role is based in Atlanta HQ or Wichita HQ with an expectation of three days in the office per week, partnering with Cyber Operations, Infrastructure & Site Reliability, Process Control, and

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering or administration of enterprise network security platforms.
• Experience with networks, routing, segmentation, and security policy.
• Familiarity with IT/OT security concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and improve network security platforms across 150+ locations.
• Own platform lifecycle, policy management, and change control.
• Automate request intake, changes, incidents, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with operations, vendors, and cross-site teams.
