Job summary

Georgia-Pacific, a Koch company, is seeking a Security Platform Engineer to engineer, operate, automate, and improve network security platforms protecting IT and OT environments across 150+ locations. You will own policy, change control, upgrades, monitoring, and vendor coordination from design through go-live.

The role partners with Cyber Operations, Infrastructure & Site Reliability, Process Control, Koch shared services, and third parties to deliver secure connectivity and reduce operational

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience engineering, operating, or administering enterprise network security platforms such as next-generation firewalls.
• Experience with TCP/IP, routing, and network segmentation.
• Experience with change control and IT service management processes to deliver changes safely and with documentation.
• Experience using scripting or automation to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Experience translating security standards into practical, maintainable policy.
• Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, operate, and improve Georgia-Pacific's network security platforms across 150+ locations.
• Own the platform lifecycle, policy management, change control, and upgrade cycles.
• Design and drive adoption of global security policies.
• Improve automation for request intake and changes.
• Collaborate with operations, process control, and vendors to deliver projects.
