Job summary

Georgia System Operations Corporation (GSOC) is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, secure, and operate corporate network services and cybersecurity tools.

This on-site role covers datacenter, campus, remote-site, and cloud environments, focusing on availability, secure access, and automation. You will mentor peers and collaborate across infrastructure, security, and vendor teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise network and security infrastructure experience.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, wireless, and NAC.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support datacenter and campus network services.
• Administer next-gen firewalls and VPNs.
• Engineer WAN and internet-edge connectivity with security controls.
• Develop automated network tasks via APIs and IaC.
• Partner with SOC for alert tuning and investigations.
• Prepare change plans, rollback procedures, and vendor coordination.
