Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Gated Community in Coto De Caza, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Position Type: Part Time / Late Evening Shift

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Friday: 05:00 PM – 01:30 AM
• Saturday: 05:00 PM – 01:30 AM
• Sunday: 05:00 PM – 01:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe on‑site conditions, assisting with visitor and vehicle interactions in accordance with location protocols.
• Communicate with residents, property staff, and/or emergency personnel regarding security‑related matters, alarms, disturbances, and other incidents requiring attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
