Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Patrol Driver for a gated community in Trabuco Canyon, CA. The overnight, full-time position involves safeguarding residents, managing access control, and delivering courteous service while patrolling and reporting activities.

This role requires a valid driver’s license and at least 1 year in security. You’ll work a night schedule with paid training and benefits as part of Allied Universal’s people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors and visitors while enforcing site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor and control entry/exit at community access points and document activity per procedures.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of residential areas, entrances, perimeter, and parking to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation and access records for leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Gated Community in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify visitor access, and provide courteous communication to residents and guests. You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time / Overnight Shift

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor and control entry and exit at community access points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, perimeter areas, and parking locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access records while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
