Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Flex for a part-time, enhanced role in San Juan Capistrano, CA. The position offers flexible shifts at a gated community, with opportunities to earn more via pickup shifts and a base schedule designed for reliability.

As a Security Officer Driver Flex Gated Commuity Access Control in San Juan Capistrano, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.35 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests to appropriate areas in accordance with property procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports while maintaining professional communication with property management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
