As an Armed Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Tue: 06:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Wed: 06:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Thur: 06:30 AM - 01:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, and report suspicious activity or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with residents, guests, and property staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
