Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Security Operator to welcome and secure staff, visitors, and vendors at multiple facilities. You will implement access control protocols, monitor surveillance, and coordinate with SPOC to respond to incidents and emergencies, while maintaining professional conduct and strong customer service.

The role involves standing post, tours, and escort duties across campuses, with flexibility for varying shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to navigate complex support needs and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Active First Aid/CPR/AED certifications preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience advantageous.
• Ability to de-escalate disputes and manage conflicts.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Track special events and visits.
• Provide high quality customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Interface with high-level internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure knowledge and implementation of access control, escort, and tour protocols.
• Coordinate with Security leadership and SPOC for incidents or emergencies.
• Assist emergency response personnel dispatched to site.
• Monitor site surveillance system.
• Prepare written incident reports.
• Report maintenance, facility, and technology issues.
• Build relationships with other departments and landlords regarding security operations.
• Oversee multiple projects across campuses without direct supervision.
