Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Command Center Operator to monitor security events and respond to incidents at our Wilmington Service Center. The role requires strong customer service and the ability to troubleshoot electronics while coordinating with multiple partners.

The position offers full-time hours, various shifts, and a benefits package including vacation after 90 days and access to employee resorts. Prior security or military experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Willing to work nights and weekends if needed.
• Applicants must have a verifiable ten-year work history.
• Prior military, police, or security guard experience preferred but not required.
• Understand CCTV and remote viewing systems.
• Able to react to high-stress situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong telephone and customer service skills.
• Experience troubleshooting a variety of electronics issues.

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Command Center Operators at our Wilmington Service Center. This new role will be responsible for incident response, utilizing the latest in network security technology to respond to potential threats. Successful candidates will have outstanding customer service skills, with the necessary understanding to successfully support troubleshooting across all 115 terminals.

Responsibilities

• Investigating / resolving intrusion attempts
• Reviewing security events that are populated in a Security Information and Event Management system
• Communicating effectively with other business partners regarding claims, safety and overall business needs

Requirements / Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
• Have the ability to speak, read and write the English language
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends if needed
