Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring Security Guards for our Wilmington, OH Service Center. The role involves protecting terminal security interests and property, with shifts that may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends if needed.
• Must be able to stand, walk or patrol the facility for the majority of the shift.
• Military, police, or security experience preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal history check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide protection for terminals security interests and property from theft, fires, sabotage, vandalism, illegal entry, and other acts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
• Have the ability to speak, read and write the English language
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends if needed
• You must be able to physically stand, walk or patrol the assigned facility for the majority of your shift
• Previous military, police, or security guard experience is preferred but not required
• Must submit to a criminal history check, and pass a drug screen
