Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking an Inbound Router Supervisor at our Yemassee, SC Service Center to manage dock and dispatch operations and lead a night shift starting at 11:00 PM. The role requires proven leadership in a fast-paced environment and strong organizational and communication skills.

Eligible for vacation, holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package including employee resort stays. Responsibilities include coordinating scheduling, ensuring safety compliance, and timely dispatching of LTL

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication and logistical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.
• Experience with LTL operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage dock and dispatch operations for the service center.
• Coordinate dock operation and driver/freight handler scheduling.
• Ensure safety compliance across operations.
• Ensure timely dispatching of LTL loads.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Driver and Freight Handler Management
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
• Ensure Safety Compliance
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
• Candidates must have proven basic leadership experience.
• Must have the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.
• Must have computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas
• Prior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred .
