Job summary

Epic is seeking a Security Operations Technician for its Hosting SOC to identify security events and coordinate investigations across multiple teams. You will think critically to drive long-term process improvements and stay ahead of emerging security threats with new information security solutions.

The role focuses on safeguarding Epic Hosting's confidentiality, integrity, and availability for major healthcare clients, with relocation support to the Madison, WI area.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, application whitelisting, and data loss prevention.
• Experience with log analysis, monitoring, and system/network auditing or working in a security operations center.
• Security certifications such as SANS/GIAC GSEC, ISC2 SSCP, EC-Council ECSA, or CompTIA Security+.
• Knowledge of scripting with PowerShell; exposure to AD and access management; familiarity with SIEM, MFA, ITIL tools.
