Epic Hosting seeks a Security Operations Technician to join a SOC team securing Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events and coordinate investigation and response across teams, aiming for long-term process improvements and staying ahead of threats.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, application whitelisting, and data loss prevention
• Familiarity with log analysis, monitoring, and system/network auditing or SOC experience
• Security certifications such as SANS/GIAC GSEC, ISC2 SSCP, EC-Council ECSA, CompTIA Security+ are a plus
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
• Exposure to access management, Active Directory, and physical security
• Familiarity with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed)
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• Available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
• COVID-19 vaccination
