Job summary

Epic Hosting is expanding its Security Operations Center to secure Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. The role focuses on identifying security events, coordinating across teams, and implementing long-term improvements.

Relocation to Madison, WI is reimbursed, with opportunities for growth and competitive, merit-based compensation. Candidates should have SOC experience, familiarity with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools, and a working knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and AD.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations in a SOC environment.
• Knowledge of firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, DLP, and log analysis.
• Certifications are a plus (GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, Security+).
• Scripting with PowerShell is helpful.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and access management.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events and coordinate investigation and response across teams.
• Propose and implement long-term security process improvements.
• Stay current on threats and recommend security solutions.
