Job summary

Epic Hosting seeks a Security Operations Technician to join a SOC team guarding Epic's SaaS infrastructure for healthcare clients. The role requires relocating to the Madison, WI area; relocation assistance is provided.

You will identify security events and coordinate response across teams, while pursuing long-term process improvements. You should stay current with emerging threats, implement information security solutions, and contribute to a high-security culture across Epic's campus and

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, application whitelisting, and DLP.
• Experience in log analysis, monitoring, and SOC work.
• Security certifications such as GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, or Security+ are a plus.
• PowerShell scripting ability is helpful.
• Familiarity with AD, access management, and physical security is a plus.
• Experience with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools is useful.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
• COVID-19 vaccination.
