Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join the SOC team that protects Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events, coordinate investigations across teams, and drive long-term security improvements.

The role requires relocation to the Madison, WI area with reimbursement and offers a path to grow within a leading healthcare technology company.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and incident response.
• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and data loss prevention.
• Knowledge of log analysis and security monitoring for SOC environments.
• Scripting ability in PowerShell is helpful.
• Experience with Active Directory and access management is a plus.
• Relocation to Madison, WI area reimbursed is provided.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events in the environment and coordinate investigation and response across teams.
• Escalate potential security incidents and provide relevant information.
• Implement long-term process improvements and new information security solutions.
