Epic Hosting on a campus just outside Madison, WI seeks a Security Operations Technician to join a SOC team securing Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events and coordinate investigations across multiple teams, applying critical thinking for long-term improvements.

The role emphasizes staying current with threats, implementing new security solutions, and contributing to policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, app whitelisting, and DLP.
• Knowledge of log analysis, monitoring, auditing; SOC experience preferred.
• Certifications such as GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, Security+ are a plus.
• PowerShell scripting knowledge is helpful.
• Familiarity with access management, Active Directory, and physical security is a plus.
• Experience with SIEM, MFA, and ITIL tools is useful.
• Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI area (reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Identify security events and coordinate investigations across teams.
• Follow policies and escalate when policies are not followed.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting.
