Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. in New York City seeks a Shift Supervisor to manage security operations across posts, oversee a team of Security Specialists, and ensure strict compliance with post orders, client policies, and all applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include liaising with client management, coordinating emergency response, conducting investigations, writing incident reports, maintaining timekeeping and daily activity records, and training staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years in safety and security management or supervision, law enforcement, military, or security control room supervision experience.
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by state law, plus client certifications; responsibilities for documentation/fees lie with employee.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with client’s corporate management to ensure proper utilization and execution of security programs and projects.
• Oversee a team of Security Specialists, ensuring compliance with post orders, providing training and coaching as needed.
• Manage and coordinate all security operations and programs in assigned area.
• Respond promptly to emergent events, issues, deficiencies and client requests.
• Initiate investigations and write incident reports as directed.
• Maintain up-to-date records including timekeeping and daily activity reports.
• Perform other related duties as required.
