Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Security Operations Specialist (Physical Security) to join our team. In this role, you will perform integrated, multidisciplinary assessments to evaluate the survivability of critical U.S. Air Force mission systems, infrastructures, and assets.

The Air Force Mission Assurance Assessment Team requires specialized technical, analytical, and investigative support to conduct comprehensive assessments of installations and/or facilities.

This role offers the opportunity to travel within the continental U.S. (CONUS) and outside the continental U.S. (OCONUS) to assess vital Air Force systems and infrastructure, ensuring their survivability against threats or attacks. It provides a chance to travel around the world and contribute to protecting mission-critical infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Conduct assessments of installation and facility’s ability to protect personnel, critical assets, and missions from physical attacks, including deterrence, detection, defense, and response capabilities.
  2. Assess identified assets and supporting infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities that could pose risks to missions.
  3. Provide recommendations to mitigate risks and prevent or reduce damage to mission-critical systems.
  4. Review physical security posture, security operations, security systems, access controls, electronic security measures, insider threat mitigation, and response capabilities for weaknesses.
  5. Utilize expertise in risk management, security operations, and advanced security technologies.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  1. Knowledge of security needs for mission-critical infrastructure, including network/data centers, telecommunications, airfields, nuclear systems, and defense industrial bases.
  2. Experience with DoD Security Directives and their development and implementation within the Air Force.
  3. Understanding of DoD and Air Force force protection and antiterrorism programs and requirements.
  4. Knowledge of security management, operations, and system analysis.
  5. Ability to conduct pre-assessment activities, onsite vulnerability and risk assessments, and post-assessment reporting.
  6. Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
  7. Ability to travel up to 25% annually.
  8. Valid US passport.

Minimum Clearance Required:

This position is part of our Federal Solutions team, supporting US government missions globally in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range: $72,900 - $127,600
