US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming

This role is a remote work opportunity within our Enterprise Security Services Organization.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide consultancy and guidance on managing comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response programs for KPMG operations domestically and internationally.
  2. Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in workplace safety and emergency response, aligned with the firm’s risk tolerance and budget.
  3. Manage risk frameworks and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, developing learning and awareness programs.
  4. Develop and deliver training and coaching to relevant stakeholders.
  5. Conduct reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support incident planning and response, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum of eight years' recent experience in workplace safety and emergency response, with preference for global program leadership covering various hazards.
  2. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of regulatory environments like OSHA, and experience in safety management systems.
  4. Analytical, problem-solving skills, and ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization.
  5. Excellent communication skills for presentations, negotiations, and influencing stakeholders.
  6. This position is fully remote in the U.S., with 5-10% travel; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
