Job summary

S:US in New York seeks a Senior Security Leader to shape and execute an organization-wide security program. You will lead security strategy, partner with Compliance and Legal, and guide IT, Facilities and program staff.

You will oversee daily operations at multiple sites, conduct site assessments, manage vendors, review contracts, and support new program openings. This role requires strong leadership, risk management, and de-escalation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 8+ years in security operations, with 3–5 years in management.
• Experience coordinating security vendors and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy and work plan.
• Establish security policies, procedures, post orders, and emergency protocols.
• Oversee security operations across program sites.
• Draft RFPs and manage third-party vendor contracts.
• Produce security metrics, dashboards and executive reports.
