Job summary

S:US is seeking a Director of Security in New York City to lead security operations across multiple program locations. You will develop strategy, implement policies, and ensure safety for clients, staff, and visitors within a trauma-informed framework.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years in security with 3–5 years of management. You will work with IT, Facilities, and Legal to advance security initiatives and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of experience with 3–5 years of managerial experience in security operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy and work plan.
• Oversee daily security operations across program sites and coordinate with vendors.
• Analyze security incident data and coordinate crisis management efforts.
• Design and deliver security training programs for staff and vendors.
• Collaborate with NYPD, community stakeholders, and internal departments.
