Job summary

Amentum, a global leader in engineering and technology, seeks a Security Operations QA to coordinate compliance inspections and audits of Detention Facility operations. The role ensures QA support to meet contractual requirements and maintain robust quality systems.

Qualified candidates should have 4+ years in detention or related QC fields, PREA certification within 6 months, and strong knowledge of inspection standards and QA processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years in detention operations, law enforcement, immigration enforcement, or quality control.
• Must obtain and maintain PREA Compliance certification within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of inspection methods and processes.
• Familiarity with National Detention Standard 2025 and Detention Facility Security Operations.
• Ability to align QA/QC activities with contract performance.
• Ability to work with personnel at all levels to implement the QC Plan.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and audits of contractual services for conformance to statements and standards.
• Manage QC activities at the assigned location.
• Serve as quality point of contact for inspectors, site managers, and operations managers.
• Keep QC procedures current and recommend updates as needed.
• Support inspection system implementation and maintenance.
• Respond to customer concerns and track corrective actions.
• Implement and maintain updated software and procedures.
• Support quality training preparation and presentations.
• Assist with quality analyses and data presentations for management and customers.
• Assist managers with corrective action reporting and non-conformity management.
• Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
