Amentum is seeking a QA Analyst II to design and execute test strategies with moderate independence. You will analyze requirements, identify defects, and mentor junior QA staff while collaborating with development teams to improve product quality.

Responsibilities include test planning, case development, execution across platforms, defect tracking, and continuous process improvements to ensure regulatory compliance and system reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of QA or software testing experience.
• Knowledge of SDLC or QA processes and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with test automation tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Identify and resolve defects early to prevent rework.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and technical specs.
• Improve product reliability, usability, performance, security.
• Provide feedback to development and design teams.
• Develop test plans, define scope, resources, schedules, deliverables.
• Analyze requirements and validate test coverage.
• Create detailed test cases and automated scripts.
• Execute tests across platforms and environments.
• Manage defects from discovery to resolution.
• Perform regression and performance testing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes.
• Conduct audits and ensure adherence to quality standards.
