Job summary

Amentum is looking for a Quality Specialist to join our team in McLean, VA. You will plan and direct activities concerning the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards, this includes technical data and written procedures along with our Statement of Work and state laws.

You will be ensuring Amentums’ services and processes meet high standards, legal rules and customer needs; preventing defects, driving customer satisfaction, reducing waste, and protecting Amentums’

Qualifications

• High school diploma, 2 years of facility or construction maintenance experience
• Core skills in technical blueprint reading, defect identification, and compliance documentation
• A valid state driver’s license
• Must possess a Top Secret US Government clearance with polygraph. US Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on equipment, projects, grounds maintenance, and custodial jobs; follow up on deficiencies
• Perform facility walk-throughs for damage, dirt, safety hazards; test doors, lights, and locks
• Verify sub-contractor work meets standards
• Perform safety checks; ensure exits, eye-wash stations, and first aid kits are in good condition
• Log activities into MAXIMO or forms; report urgent fixes to maintenance
• Track KPIs through data collection, inspections and reporting; write reports
• Assist departments in developing procedures and organize them on Shared Drive
• Collect customer feedback and conduct root cause analysis with corrective actions
• Take part in and lead improvement initiatives throughout the Program
